A criminal organisation was eliminated in Miskolc, Hungary

Publicated on: March 16, 2015

The Riot Police National Bureau of Investigation eliminated a Hungarian criminal group dealing with pandering and pimping of Hungarian prostitutes.

In October 2014 the Police caught the members of the group who recruited at least 30 Hungarian women and forced them into prostitution in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Dubai. Most of the victims’ income was taken away and they were assaulted by the recruiters. The women were mainly chosen from the poor, underdeveloped eastern part of Hungary, taking advantage of their bad financial conditions.

The gang had extensive international relations and their work was carried out in a coordinated activity.

On 10 March 2015 the Riot Police National Bureau of Investigation caught those 3 men who took over the leadership of the criminal group from the captured members. With this, the whole criminal group is now eliminated.
