Meeting of the National Anti-Trafficking Coordinators of Central and South Eastern Europe

The International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in cooperation with the British Embassy in Vienna organized on 30-31 March a meeting for the National Anti-Trafficking Coordinators of Central and South Eastern Europe.

The event provided a great opportunity for the recently appointed UK Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner and the regional Anti-Trafficking Coordinators to strengthen their cooperation.

The meeting consisted of five main sessions which focused on the UK priorities and objectives for transnational cooperation, the role of the national rapporteurs and equivalent mechanisms, trafficking of vulnerable children, transnational referral mechanism and the way forward in international cooperation. On behalf of Hungary, Deputy State Secretary Ms Krisztina Berta, National Anti-Trafficking Coordinator attended the event.
