A handbook called „Guardianship for children deprived of parental care” was released by the European Commission and European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights

The European Commission together with the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) has published a handbook which provides guidance and recommendations to EU Member States on strengthening their guardianship systems.

Children without parental care risk falling victims of exploitation or trafficking so guardianship play a huge role in protecting these children.
