ILEA seminar against human trafficing

A seminar was organized by ILEA Budapest by the title of TIP Session on 2 October 2012.

The visiting lecturer from the United States works at U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Investigation Directorate.

Representatives of Hungarian Ministry of Interior participated at the event along with representatives of Serbian and Ukrainian law enforcement units. The topic of the seminar was human trafficking and the strengthening of internationally organized actions against human trafficking, hence stopping the crimes at their root.

The main conclusion of the conference was that there is need for stronger cooperation and that combined action should be taken in order to effectively eliminate human trafficking.
