Dr Attila Beneda, Deputy State Secretary for Family Policy of the Prime Minister's Office opened the conference on 23 March 2022 in Dunakiliti resort organized by “Sarokkő” Baptist Congregation of Pápa. It was the final event of a project in the framework of Széchenyi 2020 development programme with support of the European Social Fund that set up, as the main outcome, a regional crisis management clinic in Mosonmagyaróvár.
The presentations of the first two days introduced the institutional network receiving victims of IPV and THB (crisis centers, secret shelters and sheltered accommodations) and the daily challenges of social work. In this context, the expert of the National Crime Prevention Council presented the practice of temporary preventive restraining order and restraining order.
The issue of trafficking in human beings was further illuminated from the law enforcement and judicial perspectives by speakers from the National Police Headquarters, the Office of the Prosecutor General as well as the National Institute of Criminology. On Friday, the final day of the conference, workshops were held in three different panels where participants could discuss the opportunities for improving the care system.
