No less than 22 formerly homeless men were enslaved by a family in the village of Kőszárhegy.
According to the data of the investigation, the first victim was lured from the town of Székesfehérvár by the suspects with the false promise of accommodation, board and regular payment about 10 years ago. Later, homeless people from Dunaújváros, Veszprém and Győr also came to the farm. The workers had to sort rubbish and dismantle cars, in addition to small tasks around the house. Some of them were also sent to work as cleaners for local companies, while a significant part of their income was taken away and they were constrained to live in caravans and other dilapidated outbuildings. During the raid on 25 October, the investigators of the Fejér County Police Headquarters apprehended the 46-year-old head of the family, his 45-year-old wife and their 27-year-old son, who were ordered to be arrested by the court at the end of last week.
