The police of Fejér county arrested two members of a family from Sárbogárd.
The Police Headquarters Fejér County is conducting proceedings against a 43-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman on suspicion of human trafficking and forced labour.
According to the data, on of the perpetrator knew that the victim was living in difficult circumstances and had no place to live, so he promised her work, accommodation and food.
For more than a decade, the victim had been taking care of domestic animals in the property in Sárbogárd, while living in a stable without running water and heating even in winter.
The victim was not allowed to leave the property, the perpetrators hid, abused and intimidated the man, who did not dare to escape.
The investigators of the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Fejér County Police Headquarters arrested the perpetrators on 21 August 2023. The suspects were remanded in custody by the court.
