As part of the project called “Timeless slavery” a training was organised for teachers and other educational staff to help them prepare for current challenges.

In the topic of modern-day slavery the Crime Prevention Unit of the Bács-Kiskun County Police together with Anthropolis Anthropological Public Benefit Association organised a training on 17 November 2015 in Kecskemét. The aim was to broaden the perspective of the school and out-of-school education, to renew its methods and to help to extend the experience and international practice of global education.

Between 18 May and 2 June 2015 there have been three trainings for the members of the signalling system in relation to the project called „Timeless slavery” at the central building of the Bács-Kiskun County Police in Kecskemét.

A stop-gap handbook called „Modern-day slavery” was published by Anthropolis Anthropological Public Benefit Association. The participants of the training met the content of the handbook and learned methods which can help to convey knowledge to the vulnerable group of 11-18-year-olds at school about victim assistance, work abroad, domestic violence and prevention. With the help of the project leader, Viktória Mihalkó and trainer Balázs Nagy, the participants learned how to assist victims and what they can do for the effective prevention.

At the end of November 2015 awareness-raising training for elementary school and high school students will be held in Kecskemét.
