FreedomKeepers Conference and Workshop about Human Trafficking in Europe

In the framework of Young Citizens Danube Network, FreedomKeepers has organized an international Conference and Workshop on 14th and 15th of May, with the Subject “Human Trafficking in Europe”.

The aim of the workshop is to bring together experts and interested parties, to give them the opportunity to discuss the issue, to approach possible solutions and to ultimately focus attention on the issue and ensure that all participants on the subject learn more.

The conference was held on 14th of May 2015, where the various experts from Romania, Germany and Hungary took a closer look at the subject within these countries: how is it regulated at Member-State level, who are the victims and perpetrators and what structures exist in the respective countries.

On the 15th of May there were screenings of two very topical and current movies focused on sexual and labour exploitation with discussions involving directors, actors, sociologists and the audience to follow.
