Three men and a woman are suspected of having committed serious crimes against a 13-year-old child in Hajdú-Bihar County.

In February 2020, investigators questioned two residents of Berettyóújfalu as suspect in the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl. The arrests of the 63- and 67-year-old suspects have not yet been ordered in the ongoing criminal proceedings for the crime of sexual violence and exploitation of child prostitution.

During the detection of the crime, the child’s two relatives, a 41-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man have been brought to the attention of the investigators, who - according to available information - asked the two suspects for money to sexually abuse the child. Investigators of Hajdú-Bihar County arrested the minor's relatives on 21 July 2020, in a joint action with the staff of the Cívis Public Area Support Subdivision and the Zsáka and Debrecen district commissioners. They were taken into criminal custody and a motion was made for their arrest by the Debrecen District Court for a well-founded suspicion of trafficking in human beings.
