Strengthened repeated focus on the phenomenon of human trafficking

The Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police Headquarter’s Division for Crime Prevention held – with the coordination of the National Police Headquarters – a professional roundtable meeting in order to facilitate joint action against human trafficking in Győr on 21 May, 2019.            

At the event – among other experts reporting – a specialist representative of the National Police Headquarters presented the programs and results achieved so far by the police in tackling and preventing human trafficking. Participants held case discussions and agreed on further common tasks. In addition to the police, representatives of the court, the prosecutor's office, the alien policing authority, the government office, local governments, child protection institutes and of civil and church organizations attended the meeting.
